Let's get started!
When buying a home, start by setting a budget.
Take some time to determine what you can spend each month on housing and understand that this budget needs to include:
- Mortgage Costs (including PMI if applicable)
- Home Owners Insurance (including Flood if applicable)
- Property Taxes
Make a list of your non-negotiable features vs the nice to have features. Try to be flexible when it comes to features. Some features can be easily added once you own the home.
Take some time exploring on your own just to see what is out there within your budget.
There is no sense in signing up for every home search site (Realtor.com, Zillow, Redfin, etc). All of them get their core data from the same place. The Charleston County Trident MLS.
None of them are connected directly to our MLS so the information they have can be delayed, which can be a problem in our fast paced market.
You can search for your dream home from any device on my website. You can even compare walk scores, school ratings, and neighborhood demographics for different listings.
Click the icon when you find a house you love to save it in your favorites section and let us know you like it. Hit "See This Listing" or reach out to your agent directly to schedule an in-person showing. I'm happy to walk you through the home and answer any questions, so you can make an informed decision.
When we find a home you love, I will help you with submitting the offer.
In todays market this is the trickiest part. You are probably one of 5-15 people that will submit an offer on any given home. It is really important that we get this right. There is an art and strategy to getting the home you want without putting you... the buyer... at SERIOUS risk.
I'm a skilled, 20 year veteran negotiator!
Once an offer has been accepted we'll help you navigate through inspections, appraisals, and closing in a stress free way. I do all of this at no cost to you, the buyer. As a buyer's agent, I am compensated by the sellers.
